Should I become a neurosurgeon?

I love the idea of operating on peoples brains, and I love the way brains work, but I am conflicted about aiming to become a neurosurgeon. I know that if I do aim to become a neurosurgeon, I'll be in college until my thirties. Also, I'll have a lot of debts. I also don't know a lot about neurosurgery, and I have no idea which college to go to, and no idea what to do.
