Is interventional radiology a dying field for radiologists?

Oh wow, that outlook is pretty scary considering I start training in IR next month (but I am a technologist). I did see what you are saying about the Cardiologists taking a lot of cases, I didn't realize about the others you mentioned. Won't they still need them to do the AV fistulas, Para's, Thora's, IVC filters, cerebral cases, drainages, and biopsies?
